    Description

    Vintage Working Canvasback Hen Duck Decoy Original Paint Glass Eye (great shape). Maker unknown.  Used on the Detroit River, St Clair Flats, Wild Fowl Bay near Sebewaing, Bat Port, Caseville and In Port Austin area all in Michigan.  I have owned this decoy since  1958 and acquired them from a retired Italian duck hunter from Detroit area.  I met this gentlemen by chance as a 12 year old youngster.  I used this decoy for many years and finely decided to pass them along to collectors as they were collecting dust in my basement.  This decoy is solid in all respects.  Great addition to any collection.  Measures approximately 14" long by 7" wide by 9 1/4" high including keel.
