Vintage Illinois river Canvasback Duck Decoy. Heavy bock style carving working decoy with original keel weights. This decoy was accompanied by some difficult to read information about the carver (see last photo) although the carving style is rather rudimentary  it does capture the unmistakenable style and outline of the canvasback drake rather nicely.
