    Title:
    The Descendants of Jacob Schoff
    Subtitle:
Who Came to Boston in 1752 and Settled in Ashburnham in 1757, With an Account of the German Migration Into Colonial New England

Copyrighted and self-published by the author.
    Date:  1910
    Hardback book without dust jacket.
About 9.5 inches tall by about 6.5 inches wide.  163 pages, plus an "Appendix - Additional Corrections" and an "Index of Surnames"
NOTE:  There is no later date than 1910 in this book.  There is also no publisher listed, suggesting that this was privately published.  Some copies of the book that are dated 1910 list J. McGarrigle as the printer.  I was unable to find this name in the copy I am selling.
The author, Wilfred H. Schoff, lived from 1874 to 1932.  He was a noted antiquarian and classical scholar who also served as the Secretary of the Philadelphia Commercial Museum.
Please see photo #4 for the Table of Contents.  You'll notice that this book is much more than a family genealogy.  The first portion contains a very interesting history of how German colonists came to Canada and to New England about about their life in the years immediately preceding the American Revolutionary War.
Please see above for complete description of condition and photos.   Sold as is.
