This hard to find piece looks to have never been used. The embossed fan like pattern
around the bottom is well defined. The wicker handle is perfect.

There has been some controversary as to whether this jar was sold as a cookie jar or ice bucket. Since actual catalog records of this piece have not been found, it could be either.
This lovely jar is very similar to Fenton's Big Cookies Macaroon Jar, so most people condsider this piece a cookie / macaroon jar.   The only opaque color known is the Ebony. We have seen this jar with several Paden City pattern etches.  Ardith and Gothic Garden are the most common. Delilah Bird is another etch occasionly found on this blank.  There is a good possibility that other colors and etchings are still to be reported.
