Mason or Petersen Decoy Co. scaup duck Detriot, Michigan ca. 1900
A early slope chest machine made scaup duck decoy by Mason  Decoy Co. ( 1896-1924)  or by Petersen Decoy Co - a for runner of Mason from Detriot , Michigan circa 1900. Measures 14 inches from the tip of the bill to the tail, glass eyes, missing the anchor tie and ballast weight. Purchased stripped to most bare wood and the paint was restored ( new paint) and the neck filler replaced, see the before photo. Guaranteed to be as described/pictured.
NOTE; most of the shine on the decoys is from the camera lights
