made in the Glades Pressed Pattern # 215in the 1930's. This is a vintage depression glass piece at its best with a gorgeous etching of birds and flowers and leaves made in frosted crystal by the Paden City Glass Co. The flared Ice Bucket Glass Bowl is 3 7/8 inches high, and has a 6 1/4 inch top opening and a base diameter of 4 7/8 inches. Although it was purchased from an old estate sale on Long Island and was pre-owned, it is in fairly good condition for an object that is between 80 to 90 years old, with no cracks or
chips on the inside bottom which is amazing for its age (see the the photographs)
. However, there are a number of small scratches on its bottom, and some of the thin silver overlay on the top rim has been worn off. I found it sitting on a shelf inside a closed dining room bar cabinet. The etching is gorgeous and perfect, and so is the top rim (except for the silver trim). I have been collecting unusual vintage objects for many years, and always try to describe the items as best as I can. Except for the small scratches already mentioned, as seen in photograph # 7), I don't see any other chips, cracks, fleabites, scratches, stains, cloudiness, or repairs. It comes from a smoke-free home. I only accept PayPal, and never charge extra for packaging and handling. Shipping and Insurance costs .85 via USPS Priority Mail. Payment is expected within 3 days, after which I will immediately ship the
Crystal Etched Ice Bucket Glass Bowl
out as soon as payment is verified by eBay. Buyer may be subject to sales tax which is collected by eBay, and not given to me at all. If payment is not received within 5 days, the
