E.K. Blessing National 1954 Vintage Cornet (s/n 65235) with Case and Mouthpiece

Description

This item is vintage. The serial number indicates it was likely made in the 1950s. There are some scratches and spots of discoloration around the cornet as well as some small dents, but it is in playable condition. It has not been serviced by our repair shop and is being sold as-is. Includes original case, Blessing 13 mouthpiece, and paperwork.
Cornet Case (vintage) - Original Blessing wood case, in ok condition. The hardware has rusted and the right latch is particularly hard to close, but it does function. There are signs of wear and aging on both the interior and exterior of the case, and there is a musty smell on the inside.
Mouthpiece (vintage) - Original Blessing 13 mouthpiece included. The mouthpiece has no dents but it does have significant discoloration due to the silver plating.
Paperwork - Original Blessing warranty papers as well as two vintage cornet marching books included.
Cornet - The Blessing National cornet is a standard cornet, suitable for students and advanced players. The serial number (65235) indicates it was made between 1954 and 1955. It has a bell diameter of approximately 4.75" and a bore size of .466". The bell engraving appears to have been done by hand and reads "NATIONAL E.K. BLESSING Co. ELKHART IND."
There are some scratches and small dents in various places around the instrument (SEE PHOTOS) as well as some spots of discoloration due to aging. Our repair shop has NOT serviced this instrument and it is being sold as-is, but they have tested it and determined that it is currently in playable condition.

WARRANTY:
All NEW items carry the original warranty issued by the manufacturer. All DEMO and USED items carry a 30-day warranty through Ted Brown Music, unless otherwise noted. Vintage and Consignment items carry no warranty. Please contact us if you have any questions or concerns regarding warranties.

All items will be shipped via the lowest priced method/carrier. If you would like to upgrade to a faster method/carrier please contact Ted Brown Music for additional price and details.
Once items leave our warehouse, the carrier accepts responsibility for the item's safety and delivery.
